A riddle, of sorts, as an agenda for class today

For current students and for the blog members who are not currently in the class:

Today I want to continue examining the semiotic, learning, history, social construction knot. As well as the newer strand introduced into that knot: Foucault's conception of "discipline" and Bateson's on "deutero learning."

History, culture, learning... these are the topical themes of this course... oh, and how they affect and are affected by educational institutions.

A riddle question of sorts: "what do we learn, while we are learning at school?"
