Micro-media

I will focus on one point in this blog. I very much liked the idea of Atelier. I am not sure I complete.y understood the concept,  ut its concept spurred my imagination of how to articulate the natural creativity in children. I understood Atelier to be a form of teaching that encouraged students to use artistic or creative tendencies to communicate their understanding of the world. In such, artistic symbolism is emphasized. This idea, discussed in the interview with Malaguzzi, runs alongside the importance of utilizing the systems of communication already imbedded in the children being taught. The children are treated as complete systems, that do not need to be improved, but rather fostered. This comes alongside the idea that the chidlrens forms of communication, in themselves, are autonomous and meaningful. The children know what they are ying to say and they have found meaning I. Their expression.
This respect of the existing firm of communication comes with the coinciding recognition if teachers as continuius learners. The School systems implimentatuon of two teachers per a classroom us evidence of this. By having two teachers, they can help one another learn and continue developing their own teaching method. The schools general culture to foster all people involved, from the parents, students, and teachers, shows how important it is to have a supportive surrounding.
